Cold And Alone...

One more "Christmas Raccoons" screencap...and a very sad one this time. The Evergreen Forest has been saved from the menace of Cyril Sneer, for time time being, but there is still one matter to take care of-Bert, Ralph, and Melissa still have nowhere to call home thanks to Cyril Sneer. Schaeffer has to head back home to his humans, and our furry heroes tag along with him since they have nowhere to turn to. Along the way, they pass by the broken stump that marks where the Raccoondominium once stood. Schaeffer wishes he could help them, but he can't think of anything that could be of help to them. He leaves them near his cabin, as Bert, Ralph, and Melissa wish him a Merry Christmas. He wishes them one too and tells them to not give up hope. But it looks like our heroes already have given up hope. They look so sad here. Poor Melissa is drying her tears with her husband's scarf (wonder why his scarf changed colors from red to white?) and Bert and Ralph both just look quite glum. It looks like it's destined to be a sad Christmas for our furry heroes...This is definitely a pretty darn sad scene. This actually got me thinking about the actual plight of homeless people. What would it be like to be homeless for Christmas? Or homeless in general? It seems like it'd be such a miserable life...I sincerely hope I never have to find out what that's like...
