Poor Little Bentley...

After our introduction to the usual Pig subplot, we're quickly brought back to the main plot of "Moving In". Bentley and Lisa have gone to Willow's store to pick up some groceries, while Bert has tagged along with them. Bentley is excited when he spots a box of Crackle Crunch (a Cap'n Crunch knock-off?) offering a great prize inside...Mudman's Whirlybird! But Lisa tells the disappointed young kit that it isn't on their shopping list, so he can't buy it. Bentley mumbles that he never gets anything he wants (...I'm sure that's not true), but Bert steps up to his little buddy's defense and tells Lisa that one box of cereal shouldn't be much of a bother to purchase. She disagrees, however, as she mentions that since her father hasn't actually gotten his job yet, they have no money coming in and thus are forced to skimp for groceries as a result...so they cannot afford to purchase the cereal. Bert feels bad for his little friend and wonders how hard it must be for Bentley to adjust to living in a new place. Here, we see Lisa remark, somewhat sarcastically, "Yeah...poor little Bentley..."

It's becoming obvious pretty quickly that it isn't Bentley who's going to have a difficult time adjusting to life in the Evergreen Forest, but in actuality, it's going to be Lisa...and this is the first hint we get at what's soon to come in this episode...
