Uncle Rocky

Yeah, I said I was pretty much done with uploading stand alone captures, but I figured here's last one that sort of ties in with my minor character photo collages. Here's our only glimpse of Ralph's Uncle Rocky, seen here in an old photo in "Blast From The Past". Uncle Rocky was a famous 1940s (my guess) Canadian bush pilot, and the scarf Ralph wears was given to him by Uncle Rocky when he was just a little kid. In my fanfics he is the older brother of Aunt Gertie and Ralph's not so bright father Arthur. Hmm...I can't help but notice he looks a lot like an older, taller Ralph. Family resemblance for sure! I would have liked to see him actually show up in the show, but since Ralph refers to him in the past tense, I presume he has already kicked the bucket sometime before the show. Of course, you'll remember in my "Story Of Ralph" fanfic Uncle Rocky was a selfish asshole who disowned his own nephew upon finding out he was afraid of flying, going so far as to even reject an invitation to Ralph and Melissa's wedding because he refuses to acknowledge Ralph even exists. Why would I make his character like this? I guess I based that all on the fact that Melissa has never heard of him before, IE Ralph has never mentioned him to her once the whole time they've been married. You would think Ralph would have at least brought him up at least a few times...perhaps there is some reason Ralph wouldn't want to talk about him? That's the feeling I get-he must have done something bad or not been a very nice person.
